- A maximum loan amount of Rs.10 lakhs is available.
- The interest rate for each loan payment shall be 4% per annum.
- This loan is for the WB Credit Card Program and has a fifteen-year payment period.
- Payments made in advance are exempt from any fees, penalties or charges.
- Loan repayments will be made in EMI mode.
- Up to the approved loan payment, candidates will receive a Life Cover and Life Insurance. You will have your loan deducted of the insurance premiums.
- The institution does not need to issue an NOC.
- Credit Card Program candidates allows you to request a loan anytime during your course.
- WB Candidates’ Credit Card doesn’t require that you achieve a particular percentage.

West Bengal Candidates credit card applications can be completed online. Candidates must scan and attach the following documents to their online registration.
- Color Photographs of the Applicant
- Coloured photo of the legal representative, co-borrower or both
- Signatory candidates
- Signature of the co-borrower/guardian
- Aadhaar Card
- Class 10 Board Certified Certificate
- A voter’s ID, Aadhaar or the Aadhaar number of a co-borrower and a guardian are evidence that they reside at this particular address.

Candidates that are eligible for the program can register online. Candidate must provide personal data, academic and contact information along with scanned documents.

Step 1:Click the “candidates register” option. You must fill in the “Candidate Registration” form with basic personal information and your current study course.
The second step is If you have completed the registration, your unique ID will be sent straight to your cell phone. Use the unique ID for future references.
Step 3 : Login using your WBSCC User ID and Password. You can find the list of required activities in the Candidates Credit Cards Dashboard.
The fourth step is to click ” Register Now” on the Dashboard and then fill in the application. Please provide all personal information including co-borrower information, your address, details about course and income as well bank details for both the applicant as co-borrower.
Step 5 : Uploading the necessary documents to your application. Submit your completed application for verification.
Complete the West Bengal Candidate Credential Card Application online. You might be requested to send your WBSCC and documents in hard copy by the HOI. Please contact your HOI.

- Your application will be rejected if your current HOI returns to reject it. If you want to edit your application before submitting it, that’s fine.
- Department of Higher Education Department sends application The Higher Education Department gets the approved request and forwarded to HOI for verifying.
- HED transmits an application to Bank: HED signs the form and then sends it along to the Bank in order to issue the candidate credit Card.
