West Bengal Pre Matric scholarships are available in different forms. The authority concerned will give you a special form that you can fill out depending on what kind of award you would like to get. Complete your application for all benefits before the 30th of September 2025.

All individuals who are eligible to apply for this Scholarship will receive the following:

Renewal
Following the guidelines below, it is up to the authority to renew the Scholarship.
- A scholarship is only due during 10 months in an academic calendar year.
- Candidate can extend their scholarship if they achieve 50% or more in the following class. A candidate who fails in a particular class will be denied a scholarship.
- Candidate who successfully complete their exam will receive a reward at the start of 9th grade. The scholarship is paid to those who get admitted in the next grade. When scholarships are renewed, they will pay out from the beginning of the month that the scholarship was awarded.
West Bengal pre Matric Scholarship: Terms and Conditions
If you want to apply for the West Bengal pre-matric scholarship, then please comply with these terms and conditions.
- Direct Benefit Transfer System (DBT), which is a bank transfer, will credit the scholarship money into your candidate’s account.
- Candidates must be enrolled in the institution where the scholarship is offered.
- The candidate can apply for a scholarship from just one source.
- No candidates can enroll in distance education courses.
- Two applications may be submitted from one contact number.
Eligibility Criterion
In order to qualify for the scholarship, applicants must first meet these requirements:
- This mission is only open to members of the scheduled caste.
- Candidates with household incomes less than INR 200,000 per year are recommended.
- No information is available on the other scholarship programs that may have been offered by the government.
- All candidates must attend a Government School, State Board of Secondary Education (or Central Board of Secondary Education) full-time.
- Only one scholarship can be applied for. No scholarship is given if a student has to repeat a course.
