The WB OASIS 2024 Scholarship: Criteria of Eligibility
The OASIS 2024 Scholarship requires candidates to meet certain eligibility requirements.
- Candidates in the SC and ST categories and OBC candidates can only apply online.
- Candidates must be West Bengali residents.
- The candidates’ household income per year cannot exceed Rs. 250,000 (Rs. 1 lakh per person).
- Pre-matric Scholarship Program for 2024: Candidates in the 9th and 10th grades can register.
- Candidates who have studied any of these courses can apply for this scholarship: ITIs or Polytechnics in 11th-12th classes, Engineering undergraduates or postgraduates. LLBs PHDs M.Phils PhDs B.Pharma B. Sc nursing Hotel Management

WB OASIS Scholarship 2024: Payment
West Bengal government gives OASIS scholarships 2024 to SC/ST and OBC candidates pursuing higher educational. It is up to the candidates’ financial standing and merit that will determine who gets this scholarship. Directly to the eligible candidate’s bank account, you will receive payment.
For students in class 9 and 10.
- The monthly scholarship for students in Pre Matric 10th Day Scholars is Rs 150 and the total amount per month will be Rs 750.
- Ad Hoc grant before matriculation for day scholars amounts to Rs. 750. And hoststellers each receive Rs. 1,000.
Post Secondary Students
- Post Matric Engineering (Medical), B.Sc. For candidates for post matric engineering, medical, B.Sc.
- Candidates who completed their B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm degree or LLB will receive Rs.820 per month on an account for the hosteller and Rs.530 per day scholar.
- Post Matric Scholarship holders (Honors Students) receive Rs. 750 a month as a day scholar and Rs. 300 if they are hostellers.
Post Matriculated Students in UG & PG
- For post-matric Engineering, B.Sc. Students pursuing a PhD, LLM or M.Phil in Agriculture will receive Rs.
- Applicants who hold a B.Sc. Nurses, LLBs and B.Pharms will receive Rs.820 per month on an account for Hostellers and Rs.530 per month for Day Scholars.
- Candidates that receive the Post Matric Scholarship for Honours candidates will get Rs. 750 per monthly (for Day Scholars) and Rs. $300 (for Hostellers).
Graduates (Post-Matriculation Students)
- The scholarship is available for candidates studying at Polytechnics, ITIs, and in Classs 11 and 12. Monthly scholarship payments will amount to Rs.750 for hostelers and Rs.230 for day scholars.
SC ST OBC Scholarship Online Application Process
This site is where you can apply to the WB OASIS Scholarship 2024. You can register easily for this Scholarship by visiting the page.
Registration of Students
Firstly go to the OASIS Scholarship Portal at www.oasis.gov.in. Choose the Candidates Registration. By using this registration method, the Fresh Candidates can apply for SC/ST/OBC scholarships.
Select District for Your Application
The district where you attend school can now be selected. Candidates who are studying in a district other than West Bengal must select their own. The OASIS Scholarship 2024 online application will be accessible from that district’s server.
Enter Caste Certificate Details
Fill in the Name, Father’s Name and Computerised Certificate of Caste. Certificate Manual is not accepted. The submit button is now available. It is important that your application be checked according to information from your Caste Certificate.
Update Basic
The next page will allow you to update both your Email and Phone Number. Additionally, you should update the Date of Born and Sub Caste. This page will require you to also add your Scanned Photograph. You have now successfully registered for the OASIS Scholarship. Please submit this page.
Download Acknowledgement
You will need this copy of the acknowledgement many times to register for OASIS Scholarship 2020.
Access Scholarship Portal
Enter your User ID (which is on the download Acknowledgement Page) Password and District. Enter your UserID (found in the Acknowledgement Page of download), Password, and district. You can login to your account using the Login option.
Fill in the Application Form
You can complete the remainder of the form once you are logged in. The “Further info” button allows you to enter the necessary details. You should include all relevant information about your institution including the communication address.
Add Bank Account Details
Then, you will enter the account number and name of your bank. The bank name, account numbers and MICRs are required. Then, select the Verify And Lock Option. The information in your account cannot be altered if it is locked.
You can print and download this application
You can download PDF files by clicking the Print Application button. The document will then be printed. Print the document. This application includes all information entered online.
The application must be signed on paper with the required documents.
- You can add a small photo, the same size as a stamp.
- Caste Certificate – Certified copy
- Your last mark sheet.
- This is the first page in your bank account passbook.
Filling out the application form
The BDO Office for the Block Area must receive your completed application. PO Cum-DWO and DWO of Municipality and Corporation Area must be submitted by or before the end of February 2025.
WB OASIS Scholarship 2024: Application Status

- Visit www.oasis.gov.in in order to reach the OASIS Scholarship Online Application Portal. Then click on the Track Application Button.
- You will need to enter your Application Serial Number, user ID and session.
- You can then select Review status. The status of the OASIS Scholarship application can be viewed.
WB OASIS Scholarship 2024: Renewal Online Application
You can renew your West Bengal OASIS scholarship for 2024 online. West Bengal Backward Class Welfare Department gives the following steps to renewing your application for a Scholarship. You can renew your WB OASIS 2024 scholarship online.
- You can renew a scholarship by clicking on the button.
- After entering your password, user ID and district click Login.
- You can check your information. You can update your details simply by saving and updating them.
- Lock and Renew Application: Click the Lock and Renew Application button. Print the Acknowledgement Copy.
- It is mandatory to sign the Acknowledgement Copy before submitting it to BDO or Municipal Office.
All documents will have to be successfully checked for Fresh Candidates, and Renewal Candidates. This process takes between 6-8 months.
