Vidyasiri Scholarships for 2024-25 – Online application, eligibility and last date

Vidyasiri Scholarship Overview

Vidyasiri 2024 scholarship is being offered by both the Government of Karnataka as well as the Welfare Department of Backward Classes, which is its highest authority. Vidyasiri is limited to only two students per family. Candidates must come from a backward class society.

Candidates can log in to the Vidyasiri Scholarship website after they register. After all of the required steps are completed, successful candidates receive INR 15,000 in their bank account each year. SSP’s online application portal allows you to apply for the program.

Objective

Vidyasiri is a scholarship that provides financial aid to rural Karnataka candidates with low income who are in need of furthering their Education. Please be informed that 15th September 2020 will be the final date to submit your application.

Benefits

Candidates selected who submit the application correctly and in the correct manner will receive financial assistance worth INR 15, 000 per year.

Qualification Criteria

If you are interested in applying for Vidyasiri’s scholarship program, please meet these criteria.

Step: 1

• A permanent resident or a citizen of India must reside in Karnataka.
• As announced by the Government of India & the State Government, caste of an individual should be included in the list of those who are considered to be backward.
• Students who complete a course after matriculation at a recognized government, local or aid-funded institution.

Step: 2

• Vidyasiri is a scholarship program for candidates from the backwards classes that are enrolled in a Post-Matric course but not admitted to any departmental candidate dormitory or funded by the government.

Step: 3

• The candidate who is selected will be entitled to a monthly payment of INR 1,500, or upto INR 15,000, per annum, during the study period. This payment is credited to the bank account of a student in a central bank system.

Step: 4

• It is open to any candidate.
• Board and loading mission assessment
• All candidates who meet certain criteria are eligible for this scholarship.

Step: 5

• The candidate’s, parents and mothers and the guardian’s annual gross income should fall within the range below.
• A candidate in the category I is eligible for a maximum of INR 2,50 Lakh.
• Each candidate from Category 3A or 3B and 2A will receive INR 1 Lakh.
• Candidate who lives in the city but goes to college at least five kilometers away from home can use this service. If the candidate lives in the city town but is attending class in another, they can still be eligible for this facility.
• C To qualify, candidates who have just started their study or are renewing must receive the grade below on the last exam taken in the preceding year.

Non Eligibility

• Ineligible are candidates who have completed the same degree more than once. Admission into B Com following B.A. M.A. After a M.A. Kannada llb (after B.Ed)
• It is not possible to use this service if you are in postgraduate medicine course but did practice while completing your course.
• The program benefits you if your Bachelor or Master Degree is complete, and you’re enrolled in a Professional Technical Certificate Course. Candidates who switch their career path more than twice are not eligible.
• Two boys in the same family can only participate. This restriction does NOT apply to female.

• Certificate of SC and ST and OBC and PWD
• Transfer Certificates are issued by schools and colleges. (TC)
• Certificate of Senior Secondary Education
• Candidate bank passbook

Selection Process

Understanding the stages involved in applying for a Scholarship is easy if you follow the instructions below.

• SSP Software is open to all candidates.
• You can apply online. Candidate should submit an Online Application with the prescribed document such as bank code, IFSC and caste or income certificate. Candidate should submit online an application, along with prescribe documents such as bank account number and IFSC code. Caste and income certificate are also required.
• Both the application and document will be reviewed by each college’s principal or inspector. Please send the application and document to your local welfare officer.
• The Welfare Officer will verify and confirm all online information.
• The district Backward Class Welfare officer will confirm the information provided above.
• It is required that the candidate selected under this plan attends at 75%. Taluk welfare officer should publish this online. The college’s principal will be able to obtain all the necessary information and pass it on.
• Taluks are required to approve the candidates for Vidyasiri meal and hostel facility based upon the approved budget, mark, and candidate’s eligibility.
• Treasury 2’s software allows you to deposit the sanction payments directly in your candidate account.

In accordance with the reservations below, grant amounts for the relevant academic year are redistributed in the proper category.

Applications Process

• SSP Scholarship Portal Karnataka post matric Karnatakagov. The Karnataka Government has a post-matriculation examination.
• To register, click the ‘Register” button in the menu. In the menu, click on the “Register” button. The scholarship is available for post-matriculation.
• You will be asked to provide your name, address, and any income you have.
• Please review the scholarship application and correct any errors. Click on the “Submit” button.
• Submit the Acknowledgement of Receipt along with other documents as required by your university or college.
