For High School Students
SVMCM 2024 Scholarship is for those who pass the Madhyamik examination with at least 60%.
Undergraduate Students
The cumulative grade for a candidate has to be 60 percent. Bikash Bhavan accepts students in 2024 who will have passed the HS Examinations. They can enroll for the first year of a undergraduate course, such as engineering, medical, or general studies.
Candidates who obtained a passing grade of 75 % in the relevant Diploma Courses of Government of West Bengal Polytechnic Colleges by 2024 in these fields are also qualified.

Students holding a diploma
The scholarship will only be offered to those candidates who took admission in 2nd year Diploma Polytechnic on a lateral entry basis upon passing the Madhyamik or VOCLET exams and are currently studying a Diploma first-year course. For the scholarship to be awarded, students must obtain 60% marks in their qualifying exams.
Postgraduate Students
Candidates must obtain at least 53% marks in Honours subjects at the UG level in or 55% marks for Graduation level Engineering candidates in the year 2024 who are enrolled in the first year class of Post Graduate course in General Education/Engineering, are eligible to register.
Kanyashree Kanyashree scholarship Eligibility
Kanyashree Recipients must hold a valid ID K2 sanctioned by this State. They can pursue regular postgraduate study at any University in the State (and not distance learning) and they need to have achieved 45% of aggregate marks for their degree from those institutions during 2024. Kanyashree K3 applicants will not be required to present a income certification or income affidavit. Scholarship is only available to students without K2 identification.
Maximum annual family income limit
The annual gross family income must be less than 250,000 Rupees.

Step one: Go to the Application portal for online application of Swami Vivekananda Mercit cum Means Scholarship (2024). You can only submit your applications through this site. Click here for registration.
Click on Step 2: A page detailing the details will open. Then, read the information and tick the box. You can then click on the Register Button.
Step 3 In the registration window, select the Directorate which best suits your program. Then click on the ” Register for New application” button.

Step 3:Now that you’ve registered yourself, give us your Name and E-mail. You may also provide your date of birth or phone number. A Password is also required. The password will be used to login into the Dashboard.
Step 4: You must follow these steps. Once you have successfully registered, an application ID will appear. It is required for both logging in and performing other tasks. Keep it handy and you can use it later.

Step 6: Click on the ‘Edit Profile/Application/strong>’ option to add your details information regarding this Swami Vivekananda Scholarship program. Clicking on Edit Application will allow you to enter information for your Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Scheme.

Step 8: You will be required to upload the documents. After that, you must save and review the form again. The SVMCM Scholarship application can be submitted by clicking on the finalize the application> button. Once you have submitted your application, it cannot be altered.
Changes cannot be made after a submission. If any modification is needed, the applicant can contact the HOI concerned to unlock their application. They can then edit their entire application.

SVMCM Renewal Criteria
Be sure to meet all the criteria before starting the process of renewal. In order to be eligible for SVMCM renewal, you must:
- The Government of West Bengal, or another source of financial support or scholarship.
- In West Bengal, enroll for a higher class/course in an accredited learning institution.
- A minimum of 60 marks were obtained in total in the last year’s exams.
