Swami Dayanand scholarship: The Charitable Foundation of Education started the Merit cum Mean Swami Dayanand scholarship for 2024 and 2025. Candidates at both private and public universities in India who have enrolled in an undergraduate degree program are eligible to apply for the scholarship. SDEF’s primary purpose is to offer scholarships to exceptional candidates, who may be financially handicapped but are gifted.

The Scholarship Program offers financial assistance to candidates that have overcame challenges in their families to gain high ranks on common entrance tests at the state and national levels and to be admitted to top universities. The scholarship program will accept new applications only from candidates in their first or second years of studying engineering, or medicine. SDEF only accepts applications from candidates in their first or second year of BSc/BA/B Com.

Swami Dayanand Education Foundation created the Swami Dayanand Scholarships 2024 (Swami Dayanand Scholarships) in 2025 to increase the ability of applicants. This scholarship provides financial assistance of INR50,000-INR200,000 annually to approximately 200 socially underprivileged candidates.

Qualification Criteria

Applicants must be eligible to apply for the Scholarship.

1. Registration is mandatory for all permanent residents of India.
2. Candidates in the first and second years should have a minimum age of 19 years.
3. First-year students must achieve 80% CBSE in order to qualify for class 12.
4. For technical courses, the maximum withdrawal period is one year
5. A medical degree program or an engineering course must achieve an overall rank of less 90,000.
6. Candidates enrolled on continuous courses (second year) are required to have a CGPA that is at least 8.0
7. For the family to qualify, it must earn less than INR8 lakh per annum.
8. For registration, candidates must be in an educational institution that is either funded by or aided by the federal government.
