Official announcement by MP Birla Group for the Scholarship Program 2024. The Scholarship 2024 will be available for Undergraduate Candidates in West Bengal. It’s a merit-based scholarship awarded to those who deserve it from the low income group.

Eligibility Criterion
Candidates must satisfy all eligibility requirements in order to receive a scholarship.
Current Course Details
This Scholarship is for Candidates who have taken admission into a First Year Degree Program (Graduation), in an Academic Discipline such as General Studies in West Bengal, BBA or BCA (or LLB), Engineering in West Bengal and Medicine in MBBS (or BDS), and so on.
This scholarship is only open to first-year UG students.
Families Income
All candidates must have a combined family annual income of less than 75,000 rupees. Submit a BPL Card if applicable.
Limit on Age
This scholarship starts to eligible applicants under the age of 25, as at July 4, 2024. No age restriction is placed on applicants.
Priyamvada Birla Award 2024: Criteria for Merit
All applicants must pass the Secondary Higher (10+2) exam from a State Board and Council.
Other Criteria
All candidates are required to state whether they hold employment outside their institution. Even though an internship with a pay or as a part of responsibilities from the Institution that includes completing remunerated projects does not constitute employment, they do count toward eligibility.
Scholarship Amount
Scholarships 2024: Candidates will be get a maximum sum of Rs 24,000 per year to cover their school fees.
They will continue to receive their scholarship up until the conclusion of their program (up to 4 years).
This is only possible if the candidates has completed all the need semesters, years and achieved the required percentage and CGPA at the end of each semester, years.
Application Process
This Scholarship 2024 may be awarded to eligible 1st year and first semester candidates after they have successfully passed their HS exam. At this time, all applications are done online. You can register by following these steps.

Renewing Eligibility and the Application
Priyamvada Birla scholarships 2024 are awarded to students every year up until the end of their course. Scholarship renewals are subjected to certain conditions. In order to renew a scholarship, candidates must score a minimum of 45% (or grade point average 6.0) for the courses Technology, Medicine or 55%, respectively, in the semester annual examination.
It is also possible that you may be promoted into the following year or next semester. If you change your course, or stream of study before applying for scholarship renewals, please let us know.
Priyamvada Birla 2024 Scholarship has its separate application. This form is only available if you submit the necessary documentation along with a written request.
