PMSSS scholarship scheme 2024 : the PMSSS stands as Prime Minister Special Scholarship Program. Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh can fill out the PMSSS Registration 2024 and 205 through the portal. In order to benefit from the award, applicants must register in an AICTE-accredited college. This award will help gifted youngsters in these communities pursue higher education. Additionally, the young people in these communities will learn skills that are necessary for success within their respective industries. PMSSS Scholarship 2024: About
AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) launched the Special Scholarhip Programme for the Academic year 2024-2025. Jammu Kashmir Ladakh Residents can Apply to PMSSS. This program gives financial assistance to students that meet certain requirements for obtaining a Bachelor’s degree. Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir, as well as Ladakh are eligible for the PMSSS scholarship.

It is the purpose of this programme to provide financial aid for candidates to complete their undergraduate studies. AICTE can be used to register candidates eligible for this program.

PMSSS scholarship 2024 eligibility criteria
- Residence: All applicants must be Ladakh or J&K Residents.
- Eligibility: The 12th Grade completed in a JKBOSE-accredited and CBSE-approved school within this UT.
- Earnings of the Family:The annual earnings for a one-family cannot exceed Rs.8 lakhs.
- Lateral Entry: Polytechnic graduates are eligible to apply to the engineering program.
- Included in the exclusions are candidates who have enrolled into a Start University, used management quotes, received financial assistance or worked on a degree, diploma or certificate after completing a graduate program, along with those earning more than Rs 8 lakhs.

- Correction Windows 25th to 26th July 2024.
- Announcement the Final Merit List: July 29, 2019 at 5 pm.

PMSSS Scholarship 2024: Selection Process
There are two selection processes within the PMSSS Program.
Step 1 Document registration and verification
For applicants to confirm that uploaded documents are authenticated, they must go the the Facilitation Centre. This centre is managed by the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Documents which have been checked should be uploaded and stamped on the Facilitation Center website.
Candidates must claim their document validation report as soon as possible after the successful completion of a verification.
Step 2. Filling
Select Window access is granted to those candidates who have successfully registered at Facilitation Centers. They must have the correct documentation, and they will be verified.
On the date indicated, the selection window will close. The order that you choose to complete your form cannot be changed afterward.
Step 4: Counseling and the Merit List
The interim merit lists for Diploma Class and Class XII will be released after the declaration of results.
Candidate whose name appears on the list of provisional merit are required to attend counselling sessions.
When allocating seats online, the system will also take into account any scholarships available and each candidate’s merit.
Step 4 – List of Institutions and Universities Eligible
The list below will include all universities and colleges that currently accept students. This list is intended for the selection of filling.
All candidates must pick one course from the following list.
The AICTE Portal does not provide scholarships to applicants who enroll in an institution listed there.
Step 5: Reservation Policies
These UTs must notify J&K about the scholarship. There are categories for SC, ST and SEBC.
Following is the breakdown of reservations.
- SC 8 percent
- ST 10%
- SEBC (excluding SC or ST) comprises 22%
- Social castes:
- Residents in Backward Areas 10%
- Residents of the area adjacent to International Borders and Actual Lines of Control (ALC), 4 %
- Pahari Speaking People 4%
- EWS (Economically weaker sections) 10%
