    Mahabocw: Maharashtra Construction and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board (Mahabocw) has launched its application procedure for Mahabocw awards. These scholarships are available for children who have construction worker parents.

    Mahabocw, the Maharashtra Construction and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board and Government of Maharashtra have launched a scholarship program. This scholarship gives financial support up to INR 1.25 lakh to the candidate per year. Mahabocw is a scholarship created to help children of workers in the construction industry. Under this program there are different types of scholarships available, ranging from the first class scholarship to postgraduate.

    Mahabocw Scholarship The purpose of this scholarship is to help all children whose parents work in construction sites get a higher education. The Scholarship is intended to aid candidates reach their goals of higher education. The main information will be shared in this article including how to register and what the current status is of the scholarship as well as verifying the official websites.Qualification Criteria

    Eligibility criteria

    • First of all, candidates must be residents of Maharashtra.
    • The parent should work in construction.
    • Construction workers can be aged between 18 and 60.
    • If you are enrolled in a college or university, it must be accredited. You must be enrolled in a recognized school, university or college.
    • Attendance at class is required for candidates in grades 8 to 10.
    • Candidates in 10th-12th grades must achieve a minimum score of 50%.
    • Forming workers that worked 90 or more days over the past 12 month

    Benefits

    • Payment is INR 2,500 for students in 1st – 7th class.
    • Candidates studying from class 8th through 10th can receive INR 5 000.
    • You can earn up to INR 10,000 if you are in grades 10-12.
    • INR 50,000 is the maximum amount for students in classes 11th and 12.
    • This amount amounts to INR 20000 for undergraduates.
    • One lakh rupees will be awarded to medical students.
    • Engineering graduates can earn up to INR 60,000.
    • For government recognized degrees. For those degrees that are recognized by the Government.
    • The government is willing to pay INR 25, 000 per annum for a graduate with a recognised degree.
    • Fees to educate two MS CIT children when applying as a Construction worker.

    • On your computer, laptop and smartphone you can access the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Website.
    • The page will open. Click on “Online construction worker claims” or simply tap it.
    • The box will appear when you select the button above. Next, you will see two options: Update Claim (update your claim) and New Claim. Choose the New Claim option.
    • The registration number is the last digit of your name. Construction employees need to first register online.
    • Upload all documents such as your Aadhaar self-declaration and ration card.
    • When you are done uploading the file, click the submit button.
    • After you submit the form, you’ll receive an acknowledgment. Please keep it for reference.
