IET India Scholarship Award 2024: The Indian Institute of Engineering and Technology started the IET India Scholarship Award in 2024. Indian Institute of Engineering and Technology started this award in order to reward engineers studying for undergraduate degrees.

Candidates who are pursuing undergraduate studies at AICTE and UGC accredited universities will also be eligible for the award. To apply, all applicants must complete the online application. All aid money will be deposited directly in the account of selected candidates.

Overview
IIT (Indian Institute of Engineering ) is India’s leading institute. Indian Institute of Technology (IIET) offers young Indian engineers in need of financial help and benefits. IET India’s main objective is to raise the level and quality of Indian engineering. Candidates with financial hardships who are unable to afford engineering training can apply for the scholarships.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be enrolled full-time in a UG degree program approved by AICTE/UGC. AICTE and UGC recognise all branches of Engineering.
- Candidate must be registered in regular credit classes and completed course within one session.
- UG Grades should be at minimum 60% across all semesters completed or corresponding with a CGPA no less than 6.0.
- No age restriction is placed on applicants.
- AICTE approved and National Institutes as well institutions that are UGC and AICTE approved can offer scholarships to their candidates.
Financial Assistance
- Scholarships available at Regional Rounds:
- Regional Round Winner: Rs. 60,000, plus certificate and IET membership
- Runner Up – Rs 40,000 + Certificate + IET Membership
- Winners from regional rounds are eligible to compete at national level in finals.
- Winner: Rs 3,00,000 + Certificate + IET Membership
- 1st Runner Up: Rs 1,70,000 + Certificate + IET Membership
- 2nd Runner Up: Rs 1,50,000 + Certificate + IET Membership
Selection Process
The Selection Process If you are eligible to apply, then the process will consist of 3 stages. Applicants must fill out an online application during Stage 1. If the applicant is chosen, they will need to pass an online assessment as part of the Stage 2 process. If the candidate is chosen at stage 2, they will proceed to an assessment on a regional basis. If you meet the above eligibility criteria, please fill out the online form and submit it.
This second shortlist of candidates will submit an engineering presentation to address a pressing, relevant social challenge. The presentation will be held in 4 regions: the North (Delhi), Southern (Bangalore) and Western (Mumbai), as well as East (Kolkata). The winner of each region is selected to represent the respective region at the national finals round. The finalist applicants will then be invited for an actual presentation. The performance of each applicant will be judged based on how they improved in every round.
