Central Sanskrit of Ministry of Educational of Government of India provide an opportunity for the Delhi merit scholarship offered by Central Sanskrit University Delhi. Central Sanskrit University Delhi administers this scholarship.
The scholarship goal to give financial hold up to students studying Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit as a main or voluntary subject in recognized Sanskrit Pathashalas, Sanskrit Mahavidyalayas, Sanskrit Vishwa Vidyalayas (Traditional Stream) or Schools/Colleges/Universities (Modern Stream).

Qualification Criteria
If you want to be considered for the traditional Central Sanskrit course, then you have to meet all of these academic requirements.
Purvamadhyama 1st course or similar | A course equivalent to Prathma-3rd year |
Purvamadhyama-2nd course or similar | The first year of Purvamadhyama or an equivalent course |
Uttarmadhyama/Prak-Shastri-1st or equivalent course | Course in Purvamadhyama-2nd or equivalent |
Uttarmadhyama/Prak-Shastri-2nd or equivalent course | First year of Uttarmadhyama/Prak-Shastri or an equivalent course |
A course equivalent to Shastri-1st | Courses in Uttarmadhyama/Prak-Shastri-2nd or equivalent |

Courses equivalent to Shastri-3rd | The Shastri-2nd course or an equivalent course |

Benefits
Selected students will receive a scholarship of the following value:

Alternatively, Class 9/Purva-Madhyama (first year) or Class 10/Purva-Madhyama | For 10 months, you will pay 500 per month |
The class 12/Prak-Shastri 2nd year/Uttarmadhyama 2nd year or an equivalent course in the field | ₹600 per month for ten months |
B.A. 1st/2nd/3rd/ B.A. (Hons) – 1st/2nd/3rd/ or equivalent studies | For 10 months, you will pay 800 per month |
An Acharya (1st/2nd year) or M.A. (1st/2nd year) in Sanskrit, Pali, or Prakrit or equivalent | For a period of 10 months, 1,000 is payable per month |
A Vidyavaridhi or Ph.D. degree in Sanskrit, Pali, or Prakrit | As a contingency, 2,500 per month for 12 months and 5,000 per year |

Suggested Selection Criteria
Central Sanskrit University offers scholarships in accordance with the recommendations of a Scholarship Selection Committee. The recommendations from the Committee will be presented to GIAC and approved by them.On the basis of marks obtained in Sanskrit (or Pali) or Prakrit (or both), it is assumed that students are evaluated based on merit. Honors students studying Sanskrit Pali Prakrit are evaluated on an overall basis.
