Criteria for UP Scholarships
- Uttar Pradesh Residents are required to Apply.
- An academic establishment, such as an university or college, is required for a student to be registered.
- There is now a form for pre-matriculating students of 10th or 9th grades to apply for scholarships.
- The Post-Matric Scholarship is available for students from grades 11-12.
- Scholarships to UP Dashmottar is only available for class 10 and above.
- Income cannot in any case exceed Rs.2,000.00/= (for OBCs) or Rs.2,50000/= (for Minorities and Generals).

How to apply for UP Scholarships Online
- For Fresh Candidates: Candidates that have taken classes in 9th or 10th grade, as well as 11th or 12th grades, and any other Dashmottar course such a PG, Diploma, or Certificate, can apply.
- Renewal Applicants : Students, who already have enrolled and applied for scholarships at an institution in the prior year can use the same login ID and registration code to reapply.
- Be sure to prepare all required documentation before submitting an application for a online scholarship
- Contact your school or institution if there are any questions you may have regarding the nonrefundable amount.
- It is important that you submit your application within 3 working days of finishing the online form.
- Aadhaar Card is required when applying for scholarships.

- Renewal Login: Select this option if you wish to renew your application.
- You can log in by following these simple steps.
- According to the level of education, students in pre-matric and post-matric should select an appropriate program.
- Candidates who wish to renew their programs should select the appropriate category.
- Your registration code, your birthday date, and the captcha are required.
- Then, submit the completed form.
UP Scholarship Online Form Correction/Edit: How do I do it?
The deadline for making corrections or edits to UP scholarships has been increased. Now, the deadline for making corrections and edits on UP scholarships is 29 January 2020 to 6th May 2025. It has now been extended until 6 May 2025.
Step 1 – Register for UP scholarships & fee reimbursement
- Visit the UP Scholarships Portal.
- You can choose to login after matriculation (either as intermediate fresh/renewal student or another than intermediate fresh/renewal student).
- Enter your registration number, date of birth, and password/verification code to log in.
- Captcha submission:
You can now make the necessary corrections/edits.
- The result of the verification is displayed after successful login.
- You can make corrections by clicking the “Modify app after first test” button.
- Your browser will redirect you to the correction of your application page.
- You can correct the online application by resubmitting it.
Step 3: Submitting your corrected application
- Print out your completed UP scholarship form once you are done with the corrections.
- Each institution/college should receive the corrected application on paper.
Applying for Post-Matric Outside of State
Students from Uttar Pradesh studying abroad who are state residents can apply for UP grants. These are the steps to take:
