NSP Scholarship Pre Matric Scholarship

Through the Ministry of Minority Affairs of India, the NSP pre-matric Scholarships are available to minorities and students in grades 1 to 10. This scholarship will be awarded only to individuals who are from socially underprivileged sections of society.

Scholarship recipients are able to use this program in order to get the best educational options. By filling out the application form on the scholarship site, students can submit their applications. The application deadline is September 2020.

Benefits of the NSP Pre-Matric Scholarships for Minority in 2024

They will get these benefits if the candidate qualifies for the program.

  • Annual admission charges for students in classes 6th-10th (both day scholars as well as hostellers): 500 rupees.
  • The tuition fees for the classes of 6th through 10th are INR 350 per month (both for Day Scholars or Hostellers).
  • The Day Scholars are entitled to a maintenance allowance for 10 months. This amount is INR100 per calendar month from class 1st through 5th.
  • Ten months of maintenance allowance during the academic year (both Day Scholars and Hostellers). INR 600 each month, for both Day Scholars and Hostellers.

According to these criteria, the application will be assessed by the scholarship portal.

Fresh application:

It is the needs of the candidate that determine the final outcome, and not the marks. The final decision is based upon the date of birth of the applicants, even if their household incomes are similar.

Renewal App:

  • Students are only eligible to extend the scholarship if they have achieved 50% or more in their last year’s exam at the level and institution in which the examination was taken. All applications for scholarships must be validated by a specified authority, such as the Ministry of Minority Affairs. They also need to have their approval by State Authorities or UTs.

The Documents Requisited for the NSP Pre-Matric scholarships for Minority Students 2024

For the application to the pre matriculation Scholarship program, you must provide the following documentation:

  • Student Photo
  • The Residential and Domicile Certificate
  • Institutions need to provide a Form of Verification
  • The fee receipt of the course year that you are currently in.
  • The State Government or UT Government has the authority to give the certificate.
  • The person who has applied for the Community Card must be over 18 and have it self certified. Please note that minors below 18 are required to have their community certificates certified by their parents or guardians.
  • Self-attested mark sheets that indicate applicants have scored at or above 50% on the most recently qualifying examination in higher secondary education or graduation degree
  • Number of Bank Accounts for the Student along with IFSC Code of the Branch bank. (Note: If the student does not have a personal bank account, the parent or guardian can give the information).
  • Student Aadhaar identification number If aadhaar number isn’t accessible. This is a real student card issued by an institution or school, a bank passbook scan and an Aadhaar Enrollment ID (if a student has requested the aadhaar).
  • The Bonafide Certificate issued by the School or Institution. It is important to note that the institution or school may be in a separate state from where the student resides.
  • It is important that documents are in.pdf and.jpeg formats, with a maximum file size of 200 kb.

Pre-Matric Scholarships in Minority 2024: Criteria of Eligibility

candidates must satisfy these eligibility criteria to be eligible for the NSP Scholarship:

  • You must be from a minority community. This includes Muslims, Sikhs and Christians.
  • Students must have completed Class I through 10th at a school in India.
  • Candidate must have scored minimum 50% in the previous examination.
  • The applicant must have a family income that does not exceed INR 1 lakh per year, regardless of the source.

Application Process

The following simple procedure must be followed in order to receive a scholarship.

  • To access your pre-matriculation NSP website, click on the below link.
  • On your desktop, you will find the homepage.
  • The option New Registration will appear.
  • On the screen, you will find instructions.
  • Check the “I consent” box.
  • Continue by selecting the “Continue option”
  • All the needed information must be filled in.
  • The name and the date of birth. phone number Gender, name, Email identification, banking account details etc.
  • Please enter the captcha value
  • Register by selecting the option “Register”.
  • Please sign-in using your username and password.
  • Click on the Application Formula Option
  • Your screen will display the form for your application
  • Please enter the information, such as state and name of pupil, Aadhaar Number, mobile number, scholarship category gender and religion, Aadhaar Number and Father Name, along with the date of birth. You will need to provide the following information: mother name, total annual household income, your email ID, etc.
  • Select “Save and Proceed”
  • Click here to download the file
  • The “Final Submissions” link will appear.
  • This application has been filled in successfully.
