    MoMA Scholarships 2024: Minority students may apply to MOMA for the following scholarships: pre-matriculatory scholarship, post-matriculatory scholarship, merit-based scholarships for technical and professional studies, as well as scholarships for those who are Sikhs.

    A total of 30 lakh scholarships are available under the Indian Government’s pre-matric scholarships scheme. 5 lakh will also be provided for those who have completed their matriculation.

    Objective

    Ministry of Minority Affairs offers scholarships for those who have not yet graduated or are in the process of completing their education. MOMA Scholarships are designed to encourage minorities to continue their education.

    Eligibility Criterion

    For more information about this scholarship, please click here. The Ministry of Minority Affairs published guidelines on eligibility. This scholarship is available only to Muslim and Sikhs as well as Christians, Buddhists and Jains.

    Minority Minority Scholarship Criteria

    • Candidates must be between 1st and 10th grades.
    • At least 50% of the candidates’ previous scores in final exams must be met.
    • No parent or guardian of a candidate can earn more than Rs.1 Lakh per annum.

    Post Matric Minority Scholarships Eligibility Criteria

    • Students in the class of XII can apply for scholarships. These include those studying technical courses or vocational training at this stage, like Polytechnics.
    • At least 50% of the candidates’ previous exam scores must be obtained.
    • No parent or guardian of a candidate can earn more than 2 lakh rupees per annum.

    Calculation of the Amount and Allowances

    Scholarships will be paid out directly to bank accounts for those selected in the Moma Scholarship program by 2024. MOMA scholarship pre-matric payment and MOMA scholarship post-matric payments depend on course costs and other expenditures.

    Important Date

    Minority candidates can start submitting online applications to the National Scholarship Portal in June 2025. Date for the last date to submit an online application: October 20, 2014. Candidates that are eligible for registration must do so by this date.

    Documents needed

    Documents must be submitted to the National Scholarship Portal when a candidate submits an online application. You can find a complete list of the required documents in this Post-Matric Minority Scholarship Program.

    Online Applications Process

    Candidates who do not meet these requirements are still eligible to apply for Post Matric Scholarships or Pre Matric Scholarships. How to register for this scholarship online.

    • MOMA Scholarships 2020 can be registered online at the National Scholarship Portal.
    • Subscribe to the National Scholarship Portal.
    • You will be asked to provide your contact information as well as all of your educational details.
    • The Scholarship Dashboard will allow you to select the Pre Matriculation and Post Matriculation Scholarships Program for Minorities.
    • Register for the Scholarship by adding extra details.
    • All documents must be scanned and uploaded.
    • Print out your confirmation page once you’ve submitted the scholarship online.

    • Please enter your ID number and password in order to log on.
    • Your dashboard shows you all the scholarships that have been awarded to applicants.
    • The status can be viewed by clicking the applicant’s name.
