This Program is designed to assist Minority Girls in paying for the costs of their schooling. Maulana Education Foundation’s (MAEF) program is supported by the Ministry of Minority Affairs of Government of India.

Eligibility Criterion
All applicants must be eligible to apply for Program Maulana Zad national scholarship.
- Only girls of minorities, including Sikhs and Buddhists, are eligible for the scholarship. This scholarship is open to Muslims Christians Sikhs Jains Parsis Parsis.
- Candidates in the 9th to 12th grades can enroll.
- A minimum 50% grade or an equal grade must be demonstrated by the candidate.
- Candidates cannot have more than Rs.2 lakhs in their family’s income.
- It is important to note that this scholarship cannot be offered to applicants who are already recipients of a scholarship by either a government authority or private agency.

Begum Hazrat Mahal national scholarship 2024: payment
This Scholarship will provide financial support for minority girl candidates in order to cover their board and book charges, as well as the books required to finish their courses. DBT transfers the Scholarship Payment directly into selected candidates’ Bank accounts.
- You can receive a Rs. 5,000 scholarship if you are a girl in grade 9 or 10.
- For girls studying in Class 11th or 12, a Scholarship of Rs. 6,000 will be awarded.
Selection Procedure
When deciding on the recipients of this Maulana Adul Azad Education Fund (MAEF), candidates will also take into consideration their family’s income. In the second step of the process, the Selecting method will give priority to percentages.
MAEF scholarships for minority girls school candidates are not governed. Candidates in the BPL categories are given priority.
Application System
It is possible to renew the Maulana Adul Azad Scholarship for a girl candidate who won it in the previous year. Girl candidates who were awarded the Maulana-Azam National Scholarship previously can apply to renew.
